It allows the leather to develop a patina over time so the belt won’t crack or flake and thus have a very long lifespan. This style features an extra cushion along the inner surface for extra reinforcement to avoid any injuries. The belt is tapered towards the front going from 6 inches to 2.5 inches to give better forward mobility when weightlifting. At 10mm thickness, it offers the support needed to weightlift yet it’s also flexible and comfortable upon initial use. All three layers are glued together and double-stitched to ensure intense workouts over a long period of time.
